What information do I need to order?

In order to place an order for a stork rental we need the baby's first and middle names, length, weight, and date of birth. We also need the delivery address. We accept all major credit cards over the phone. 

How much does a Stork Stop stork rental cost?

A "new baby" stork sign rental costs $100 for a seven day rental or $115 for a ten day rental. This cost includes delivery within our service area, installation of the stork lawn sign, pick up, and a personalized bundle that is yours to keep at the end of the rental.

Where will you place the stork sign?

Once we are at your location we will find the perfect spot in your yard for your stork to maximize visibility and make sure you can get great photos! If you have a specific spot in mind just let us know! Please do not move your lawn sign. If it must be moved during your rental please give us a call. 

Do you offer sibling signs?

  Yes! Sibling signs are a great way to make sure your little ones feel special as they adjust to a new baby. We offer both "big brother" and "big sister" signs that we will place near your stork for $20 that are customizable and yours to keep.

Do you deliver to apartments/town homes/ businesses?

Unfortunately the Stork Stop cannot deliver storks to apartment complexes but we understand that many people in the D.C. area don't have a yard so we are happy to deliver a keepsake bundle for your door! Town homes are fine as long as their is a patch of grass big enough to hold our 6 ft stork. 

Can you accommodate special requests?

Absolutely. We will do everything we can to help you celebrate your new loved one! Let us know what you have in mind.

Where do you deliver storks?

The Stork Stop delivers to the entire northern Virginia and metro D.C. area. Delivery is included in your stork rental fee if you are within 10 miles of our home base. Our normal delivery area includes Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Burke, Clifton, Dunn Loring, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Falls Church, Ft Belvoir, Ft Meyer, Greenway, Lorton, Mc Lean, Merrifield, Newington, Oakton, Springfield, Tyson's Corner, Vienna, & West Mclean. We happily deliver to all the military installations in the area. Delivery charge for outside of our normal zone may apply. From time to time we consolidate our pick ups so you may have your stork rental a few extra days. Please don't move the sign. If you want us to pick it up early, give us a call! 

How soon will my stork sign be delivered?

It is a good idea to call us as soon as the baby is born so that we have 24-48 hours to get your new baby stork sign customized and delivered to the new family. However, we can do rush delivery in most cases for a small fee. If you need a baby shower stork or gender reveal stork please contact us in advance so we can hold a stork for you!
